THEIR STORY

Tess, an artist and former travel industry professional, discovered her passion for ceramics during an online class in the post-pandemic era. What started as a creative outlet quickly evolved into a business when she realized how much joy (and opportunity) there was in creating functional art pieces.

As a mom of two in Northern California, Tess was inspired by her children’s habit of collecting small treasures, like rocks, shells, and other little wonders. She wanted a beautiful way to display these objects, so she began designing unique shelves.

Initially working with clay, Tess quickly found the process wasn’t scalable. In early 2024, she pivoted: using art-grade cement and designing her custom molds, she created a process that allowed her to hand-pour every piece while producing at scale. Today, her modern cement curio shelves and altars turn tiny collections into meaningful home décor, and they’re already making waves with both retail and wholesale audiences.

OUR STRATEGY

When we started working with Tess, her wholesale channel was thriving, but retail growth needed a push. We focused on building a strong full-funnel strategy designed to attract new audiences while preserving her artisanal brand essence.

We kicked off with Top-of-Funnel campaigns using:

-Lookalike audiences from past purchasers and Instagram engagers

-A curated interest list targeting: Collects, Crafts and small businesses, Home decor enthusiast, Toy/action figure collectors, Waldorf school moms, Travelers

Our goal was to pair these audiences with creatives that told Tess’s story, showcased the craftsmanship, and highlighted the purpose behind each piece.
