THEIR STORY

Brett, the founder of Hello Bargello, stumbled across an old book in a thrift store filled with intricate bargello patterns (a centuries-old form of needlepoint embroidery), and wanted to learn more… but found nothing! There were no videos, no recent books; it was a dying craft. So she dove in, learned it all, and then created her entire business around it.

Hello Bargello was born. And while Brett had zero bargello-specific competitors, her audience existed: passionate crafters, knitters, crocheters, and DIY enthusiasts looking for something new to spark their creativity. Five years later, her brand has carved out its niche, with a loyal following that adores her product launches featuring unique designs. Last year, revenue doubled, but Brett wanted more stability, more consistency, and bigger growth.


OUR STRATEGY

When Brett came to us, she had tried ads before. They worked… for a while. But results plateaued, and sales became inconsistent; a big problem for a brand built around frequent launches. Our mission was to create a scalable, full-funnel system that delivered predictable growth without losing Hello Bird Bargello’s artisanal and modern feel.

We started with a Top-of-Funnel campaign aimed at introducing this “forgotten craft” to a fresh audience. We focused on interest-based targeting of people who had an interest in Sewing and Knitting,  but also LLA of her customer list, email list, website visitors, and IG engagers. 

Our creative strategy centered on storytelling, showing not just the beauty of Bargello pieces, but also how easy it is to learn and to make this an actual hobby. 

Once the TOF ads gained traction, we moved to Middle-of-Funnel and finally Advantage+.
